Move over Summer Festival Season, there's a new trend in town! 

Despite the heatwave, in the past week I've been religiously scrolling through Pinterest for an overload of Autumnal inspiration. In the midst of my fall content binge, I noticed that a lot of the festive content was USA-centric and that, across the pond in the UK, we don't seem to celebrate the change of season or promote the excitement of the transition from soft to crunchy leaves. This got me wondering, is it that we don't celebrate it or that we just don't see the opportunities to?

I've compiled a list of exciting events going on in Northamptonshire this Autumn that will totally roast your marshmallows!

1. A Starlight Walk

Watch an outdoor live performance of Guy Fawkes' infamous gunpowder plot at Turvey House on Wednesday 7th September.

Stock up on supplies at the Autumn Food Fair at Abington Park Museum on Saturday 8th October.

6. Pumpkin Picking

Get that festive porch looking Instagrammable! Pick a beautiful array of multi-coloured pumpkins at Overstone Grange Farm. This event is confirmed but tickets are yet to go live on sale.

7. A harvest moon celebration

Celebrate the Harvest Moon at Saxby's Cider's Farm's Harvest Moon party on Saturday 20th August.

8. Cider and Sausage fest

Enjoy the perfect mix of sausages and cider at the Cider and Sausage Fest at Saxby's Farm on Saturday 12th November.
