EXPLORING PARIS | DAY 2

Well, what an eventful second day it's been here in sweet Paris we have had. It has been another amazing one from start to finish and we managed to do everything we set out to do today.

We started by waking up at 10am and had a lovely chilled out Sunday morning. I made us some fried bread and egg for breakfast with a lovely coffee before we got ready and headed out for the day at around 11:30.

The Champs-Elysees was our first hotspot so that we could see the Arc de Triomphe, we took the metro there and strolled along the huge strip of shops. Of course the wind accidentally blew us into a Sephora! There were shops dotted along like Gap, Swarovski, Tiffanys, Louis Vuitton and Adidas. We also bought a few bits from Zara before taking some lovely pictures of the Arc de Triomphe. It was way bigger than I expected it to be in person!

After taking some lovely photos and taking in the scenery, we headed down the other side of the Champs-Elysees and dropped into the Nespresso bar for a coffee. I ordered the Vanilla iced coffee and Will went for the Chocolate iced coffee. They were both served with some amazing salted caramel macaroons, we sat outside but it was so cool being able to see inside all of the different coffee pods, it was right next to the store which also looked absolutely insane, who knew there were so many different flavours of coffee.

It was so lovely to just sit on the busy street watching people walk by and have no worries in the world. The Arc de Triomphe was still only to our right so we had a beautiful view.

We started to head back towards the metro but not before dropping into Abercrombie and Fitch which had an absolutely insane entrance and the inside decor was stunning. We took a lovely picture against the huge hedge wall. We also dropped into the Nike store so that Will could pick up some PSG socks as we'd booked tickets to see them play at home in the evening.

After arriving home we realised we needed to print the tickets out for the game as we couldn't see whether an e-ticket was going to be accepted. We headed over to get this done after making ourselves some pasta for dinner then dropped into a pub right opposite the stadium whilst we waited.

After making our way to the stadium, we got halfway to our stand when the players coach arrived, we saw them all getting out including Neymar and Mbappe which was absolutely insane to be so close to them! They were playing against Caen in their first game of the season, we were told before the players came out for training to give a warm welcome to their newest goalkeeper from Juventus, Gianluigi Buffon!
Right after they left the pitch, the World Cup 2018 was brought out to present to the French players, it was pretty insane to actually see it in person!

Neymar scored the first goal, followed by Rabiot then Weah who came on ten minutes before the end and scored six minutes after being on the pitch, he's only eighteen years old!

It was a great match to see, Neymar is an absolutely insane player. Di Maria also played very well and it was an amazing first PSG game for Buffon who made some absolute worldie saves from close range! Caen also played pretty well, albeit more defensively but it was lovely to see them give PSG something to work for.

We finished the night with a McDonalds on the way home (obviously!) and just made it back in time to be able to watch the thunderstorm from our cosy bed.
I'm hoping that we can get to the Notre Dame tomorrow as it would be great to see that but we'll see what the day brings us.
Until tomorrow...
